Jeremy Buck & The Bang to Kick off Hermosa Pier Concert Series August 22nd

Concerts on Hermosa Pier

August 22nd begins the Hermosa Beach “Concerts on the Pier” hosted by Sainte Rock and Vox Entertainment with Hermosa Beach’s own Jeremy Buck & The Bang and Trevor Hall.  The concerts, which begin at 5:30 pm and go until sunset, will run from August 22nd through September 26th.  It’s FREE but draws huge crowd to the beach so get there before 5pm and set up your blanket on the beach.  Alcohol is restricted on the beach, so bring your red cup to keep it on the DL.

“I spent 5 hours dialing in the set for this show to make sure the crowd gets the full experience on Sunday.  All Thiller, No Filler,” Buck told Shakedown News.  “We’ve been getting the new album ready to come out in October and you’ll hear some of that on Sunday night.”  When asked what the album is titled, Buck commented, “I don’t know yet.  Maybe that’ll be the title, ‘I Don’t Know Yet’.”  Whatever the title, I’m sure the 4th release from Buck and the boys will be great.  Check out more from Jeremy Buck & The Bang

Jeremy Buck & The Bang

Hermosa’s own Jeremy Buck & The Bang brings the energy and punch of a huge nationally touring act in a small package.  A regular performer at the Lighthouse Cafe for years, Buck and his band have grown beyond their small bar clothes opening for Blues Traveler and touring across the country and even to Japan on occasion.  Their Johnny Cash meets the Talking Heads style and flamboyant front man makes Jeremy Buck & The Bang a show you should check out.  www.jeremybuck.com

Trevor Hall

Trevor Hall’s unique Reggae style has met with much acclaim.  He has toured and played with acts such as Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Matisyahu, Stevie Nicks, Ben Harper, Colbie Caillat, Los Lobos, Ziggy Marley, Rusted Root, and many others.  www.trevorhallmusic.com

After the concert on the pier, Buck, Hall and their bands will move up the hill to Saint Rocke for an after-party featuring both performers again.  Lots of fun to be had in Hermosa on Sunday night!
