While I know this may not come as a shock to many of you, Amy Winehouse was found dead at her home in London, England today, yesterday, tomorrow…whatever day it is in London. The “singer” was 27 years old. Ambulances arrived just after 4pm London time but were unable to save her life.
“On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene,” a police statement said.
Her death is being treated as unexplained…can you say overdose? Famous for, among other things, a song called “Rehab” that says, “They tried to make me go to rehab but I said No, No, No, No,” Winehouse’s drug and alcohol abuse has been a topic of scrutiny in the press.
She cancelled all tour dates and engagements last month after a series of erratic public appearances.
