Quactus Collaborates With 311 On New Album

Gabriel Isaac of Quactus

Gabriel Isaac of Southern California’s progressive rock band, QUACTUS, has collaborated with the guys in 311 to write one of the tracks on 311’s upcoming album, Stereolithic.  The album is due out on, when else, 3/11/14.  The track that Isaac co-wrote with 311’s Nick Hexum is called “Friday Afternoon”.

Here’s Isaac’s statement on his Facebook Page:

“I’ve been given the green light to share my BIG secret that I’ve been hinting at for a few months. So here it is….Less than a year ago, I had the good fortune of crossing paths with Nick Hexum, the frontman for the band 311, and back in May he and I co-wrote a song, titled “Friday Afternoon”, which is going to be on their new record!!!! You can pre-order it now via their facebook page and it’s due out on 3-11-14. Can someone pinch me?”

We’re looking forward to hearing the new album.
