There’s lots of lists running around the internet expounding on the best bands to see live. There’s one problem with MOST of these lists…they’re full of bands that many people already go see, have “made it” and have already gotten their “membership card” to the musical country club. Here at ShakedownNews, we like to keep our eyes and ears peeled for the bands who should be in that club before too long. You will one day be able to look back and say, “I saw them when…”
Every single band on this list should be on the radar of festival organizers! ShakedownNews would love to see all of them get some festi-love real soon.

* The Motet are certainly one toke over the line of a career explosion. This year they did a national tour, released a new album and are exactly at the place where the rest of the bands on this list should be in the not too distant future. I had the pleasure of catching them at The Mint in Los Angeles…a venue that holds less than 200 people. I saw them when!
