Yesterday (October 6th) Tom Ryan, the keyboard player for Southern California Grateful Dead tribute, CUBENSIS, had to say goodbye to his daughter Kathleen as she lost her life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Kat, as she was known to family and friends was 22 at the time of her death.
Kat was on the waiting list for a double lung transplant but she succumb to her disease before she was able to receive the transplant. There is an urgent need for assistance for the Ryan family.
CUBENSIS performs this weekend on Saturday at The Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach, CA and on Sunday at the Silverado Canyon County Fair in Silverado Canyon, CA. We are certain donations will be accepted at the shows as well.
Rest in Peace, Kat. Heaven gained another angel.
