The initial line-up for Lockn’ Music Festival is out and on the top of the list is 4 sets from Phish and two nights of Ween. The festival, set in Arrington, VA, announced recently that they’ve moved the event dates back a week to August 25-28th as to not conflict with Labor Day weekend.
Today, LOCKN’ Festival unveiled its initial 2016 lineup, which features Phish (2 nights), Ween (2 nights), My Morning Jacket, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (2 late nights), Charles Bradley + His Extraordinaires, Brandi Carlile, Gary Clark Jr., Galactic, Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel, Keller’s Grateful Grass, Lettuce, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Turkuaz, Twiddle, Umphrey’s McGee, Vulfpeck and White Denim.
Phish will be making its first appearance at the festival with an unprecedented two-night, four-set headlining slot. To add to the once-in-a-lifetime experience, Ween, fresh off three sold-out reunion shows in Broomfield, CO, will perform right before Phish on one night. Another LOCKN’ first timer, the beloved My Morning Jacket, will headline and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will perform two late-night sets.
Tickets go on sale 2/19 at 12 noon EST. Click here for more information.
