The Winter Park Ski Train has long been a celebrated method of travel for weekend warriors, carrying skiers directly from Denver’s Union Station to the slopes. Festival goers will have the opportunity to land at Denver International Airport in the morning, take the new East Rail Commuter Line to Union Station, board the train, and arrive right at the doors of the festival without ever needing a car. In fact, according to the Winter Park website, it’s the only place in North America where it’s possible to take the rails all the way to a ski resort.
