Tom Petty and Mumford & Sons to Headline Arroyo Seco Weekend at Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA
We’ve been saying it for a long time…LA needs a good music festival that appeals to the “non-Coachella” crowd. There are plenty of great spots and the folks at GoldenVoice have stepped to the task and are setting up shop at one of the most historic locations in the Los Angeles area…THE ROSE BOWL.
Home to many concerts, soccer (football) games and of course the UCLA Bruins football team; not to mention the actual Rose Bowl Game itself, the sprawling grounds surrounding the actual stadium will play host to a two day, three stage music & food festival titled ARROYO SECO WEEKEND. Arroyo Seco Watershed is the actual name of the “valley” that the Rose Bowl calls home.
The line-up is stacked nicely with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers headlining Saturday night and Mumford & Sons on Sunday night. The rest of the weekend is peppered with the likes of Weezer, the Meters, Alabama Shakes, Dawes, Live, Lettuce, Galactic, Lukas Nelson & the Promise of the Real, the Revivalists and many more. Definitely a solid line-up for a fist time event.
As the infomercials say, “But wait, there’s more!”
Food from some of the best eateries in LA prepared by some of LA’s top chefs will be on hand for your culinary pleasure.
Single day tickets start at a reasonably priced $125 per day.
