HUGH HEFNER

April 9, 1926-September 27, 2017

The man who ruled his empire of scantily clad women from his Holmby Hills mansion dressed in silk pajamas, a smoking jacket and a pipe has gone to a better place.  Well, considering where he’s been living, that might not be the case but never-the-less, Playboy founder and international playboy, Hugh Hefner, passed away September 27th at the age of 91 at his “Playboy Mansion” in Holmby Hills, CA.

The Grateful Dead performed on “Playboy After Dark” television program in 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal, and four grown children: Christie, who served as CEO of Playboy Enterprise for more than 20 years, David, Marston, and Cooper, who currently serves as Chief Creative Officer at the company.

Rest in Peace, Hef.
