The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will take place
April 23 – 26 and April 30 – May 3, 2020
It has been announced that the 2020 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will feature performances by The Who, Dead & Company, Stevie Nicks, Foo Fighters, Lizzo, Lionel Richie, The Lumineers, The Black Crowes, Lenny Kravitz, Brandi Carlile, The Beach Boys and many more.
Celebrating decades of musical and cultural memories, Jazz Fest stands alone in presenting the highest caliber artists in such varied genres as gospel, blues, traditional and contemporary jazz, rock, R&B, Cajun, country, zydeco and much more.
The tagline for Jazz Fest 2020 is “Right Place, Right Time,” nodding to the late, great NOLA icon Dr. John. As per usual, a number of the NOLA’s own will take the stage at the Fairgrounds, including Irma Thomas, Aaron Neville, Tank & The Bangas, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners.
There will be a tribute to fallen NOLA icons Dr. John and Art Neville.
A very special Wu-Tang Clan set will feature NOLA’s Soul Rebels brass band, and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux will appear with the Golden Eagles Mardi Gras Indians.
