Nine show, 5 venues, 1 city. With the future of live touring still a big question mark, Billy Strings has decided to take his show on the road, so to speak, for a series of live streaming shows from various venues in Nashville, TN.
Encompassing the second half of July, 7-16 through 7/26, Strings will perform at Brooklyn Bowl (7/16-17), Station Inn (7/18-19), City Winery (7/22-23) Exit/In (7/24-25) and 3rd & Lindsley (7/26). All shows will be 2 sets with a full band. Tickets on sale June 16.
“It should be noted that the dates listed may change based upon the status of the COVID-19 virus,” explains a press release. “Contingency plans (and dates) are in place three times over. For safety’s sake, all necessary precautions will be taken. All national, state, and local guidelines will be followed to the letter. Minimal staff and crew will take part in order to help produce the show.”
Digital passes for the livestream-only tour are on sale now, and a portion of proceeds will be shared with charity partners like the ACLU, Backline and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
