The “Days Between” marking the 9 days between Jerry Garcia’s Birthday (Aug 1) and the day he died (Aug 9) is an annual celebration for Grateful Dead fans every year and usually a big party in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA. But this year, the celebration will take to the internet, like everything else.
The Rex Foundation and the Jerry Garcia Family have put together a 9 day stream featuring live performances and interview content to celebrate the late Garcia who passed away in 1995.
The streaiming event will include performances by the Grateful Dead, Dead & Co., Bob Weir & The Campfire Band and many more. There will also be additional new and archival performances, as well as storytelling, from such acts as Hot Tuna, Greensky Bluegrass, Dark Star Orchestra, The Infamous Stringdusters and many more.
