Last year about this time, the West Coast was turned on to a new music festival in California. Not just any festival but one that would bring us 3 nights of String Cheese Incident paired with a whole host of great supporting acts including Fruition, Higgs, Dusty Green Bones Band, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Galactic, Keller Williams, EOTO, Kyle Hollingsworth Band and many more.
Sadly, due to COVID-19 outbreak, the inaugural Hog Farm Hangout and all other events for 2020 were cancelled. This week the HFHO folks announced not only do they plan on going hope to go forth with the 2021 fest but it has a new name, The Hog Farm Hideaway. Of course, all of this is dependent on vaccines and California’s rules regarding large gatherings come June.
Read their announcement from the festival’s Facebook page below.
The Hog Farm Hangout is now the Hog Farm Hideaway. The circumstances of this name change are out of our control but we are eager to bring our inaugural year to life with the same team and community. All of our social platforms, website, and email contacts have been updated. All tickets will be honored and there is nothing you need to do but show up ready to hang at the Hog Farm Hideaway.
Many of you are probably wondering about our plans for June 2021. Much like everyone else we are watching the COVID-19 vaccine rollout carefully and actively making contingency plans for an alternate date later in the year. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the details. The health and well-being of our community is our highest priority and we will be in communication with updates as the situation develops.
