DEAD & COMPANY SUPPORTS #MSDSTRONG IN SUNRISE
DEAD & COMPANY enjoy hanging out backstage with students and teachers from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last night (February 26) at their concert at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
Inspired by how the students have rallied for change, DEAD & COMPANY – Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti – worked with Florida Congressman Ted Deutch’s office to bring the group of students, parents and teachers together for a night of music.
Dead & Company, inspired by how the students have rallied for change, proudly wear MSDStrong t-shirts during the concert.
Oteil Burbridge also wore a shirt supporting the March for Our Lives rally, which will take place on March 24.
Headcount, the organization best known for registering voters at concerts, and for which Bob Weir is a board member, received a record number of sign-ups at the show.
