Every Friday, String Cheese Incident has been streaming an old show and this coming week they are airing a great one from 2017 at Stubb’s Austin in Austin, TX. The show is 4/14/2017 with some additional footage of their debut at Stubb’s from 1996 at the end of the broadcast. Tune in 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube or nugs.tv.
From the band:
This week on Friday Night Cheese, we’re headed back to one of our favorite venues in the heart of Texas: Stubb’s Austin. We’ve been playing at Stubbs since 1996, most recently 2017 and 2019. The 3-night run in 2017 was our first visit back since 2006, and we loved the crowd energy and rockin’ Texas vibe!
This week’s FNC show is the middle of the 3 nights (4/14/2017) and features six rarely-performed tunes. It’s a stellar Incident from the start all the way through the encore. The small Stubbs stage and up close camera work will make you feel like you’re there… and you may even smell the delicious BBQ!
Stick around after the show for some rare bonus footage of our 1996 Stubbs debut!
Join us this Friday at 8pm ET at 2nu.gs/FridayNightCheese!
